accredited ministry degree programs
designed to empower students for effective
ministry according to Ephesians 4:11-12:

of the saints for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ,

Our programs place strong emphasis on
building a personal life of faith in
order to inspire others to a life of
faith. Each program level will awaken
vision and spiritual insight towards
the individual calling and destiny God
has prepared for each student.
DIPLOMA IN
THEOLOGY
Program One Prerequisite: High School
Diploma/GED
This 30 credit program lays a foundation
in Theology, builds godly character
and establishes a strong personal relationship
with God. It builds confidence in every
student from the new believer to the
seasoned minister. Program One applies
to ministers, teachers, youth leaders,
lay leaders and all Christian workers.
The Diploma in Theology is awarded upon
completion of Program One (30 credits).
Sample Courses. Survey of the
Old and New Testaments, Principles of
Faith, Principles of Prayer, Christ
the Healer, Covenant Theology, Christology,
Knowing God, Discipleship and Doctrine
of the Holy Spirit.
ASSOCIATE IN
THEOLOGY
Program Two Prerequisite: Successful
completion of Program One (30 credits)
Program Two continues to build a strong
theological foundation. Studies focus
on history and Theology. Students continue
to gain further knowledge, understanding
and application of the scriptures.
At this level students are encouraged
to get involved in their local church
and begin to activate what they have
learned, both in their personal life,
as well as in a ministry environment.
The Associate in Theology is awarded
upon completion of Programs One and
Two (60 credits).
Sample Courses. Church History,
Angelology, History of the Bible, Writing
for Success, Hermeneutics, Bible Doctrines,
The Dynamics of Faith, Ministering by
the Holy Spirit, Relating to Divine
Authority, Israel and Bible Prophecy.
ADVANCED
DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY
Program Three Prerequisite: Successful
completion of Programs One and Two (60
credits)
Program Three is the beginning of Bible
and Theology electives designed to lead
students into greater levels of ministerial
excellence. Courses at this level are
specifically designed to strengthen
the student's personal relationship
with God. Students are encouraged to
continue their involvement in a ministry
that will move them toward the fulfillment
of their call.

Galatians, Timothy I and II, Biblical
Leadership Principles, Daniel, Revelations,
Romans and the Life and Ministry of
the Apostle Paul.
BACHELOR
PROGRAM
Program Four Prerequisite: Successful
completion of Programs One, Two and
Three (90 credits)
Before entering the Bachelor Program,
students must have completed ninety
(90) credits. A minimum of thirty (30)
credits must be earned through FCU.
The additional sixty (60) credits can
be a combination of credits earned through
FCU courses, FCU approved ministerial
experience credit or transfer credits
from an approved college.
At this stage students select a degree
major focusing on a specific area of
study to compliment their ministry call.
Advisors are available to meet with
students for academic counsel.

BACHELOR IN THEOLOGY
This is a general ministry program with
the widest application to ministry.
The Bachelor in Theology applies to
all ministry calls; teachers, pastors,
evangelists and all those who plan on
teaching and preaching the word of God.
BACHELOR IN
MINISTRY
The Bachelor in Ministry includes a
strong foundation in Theology with special
emphasis on leadership, pastoral counseling
and missions. This program develops
leadership ability and enhances ministry
skills for expanding vision and faith.
BACHELOR
IN CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
The Bachelor in Christian Counseling
is a pastoral counseling program designed
to be used within the framework of Christian
service. It prepares students to meet
the emotional, spiritual and psychological
needs of all age groups and addresses
a wide range of contemporary difficulties
normally encountered in the local church
and Christian ministry. This degree
is offered in cooperation with the American
Association of Christian Counselors
(AACC). (The FCU Counseling Program
is not recognized by the State of Florida
for the purpose of licensing.)
