love, His presence, and instruction from Him that will propel
you to your next dimension of faith and success in every

Q:
What is the style of worship at Living Faith Christian Center
International (LFCCI)?
A: Our style of worship is reflective of the diversity LFCCI
embraces. Our music and singing is lively and upbeat. We
sing praise songs and songs of worship that are contemporary
and diverse. It is a comfortable environment in which you
are free to sit, kneel, stand, clap or lift your hands to
the Lord. Scripture References: Psalms 47:1; Psalms 95:6;
Psalms 134:2; Psalms 150:1- 6.
Q:
What should I wear to church?
A You will see all manner of dress at any given service
- from jeans to suits, pants to dresses. Wear what feels
comfortable for you and maintains a level of modesty, but
you may come as you are!
Q:
Why should I attend church?
A:
In addition to spending personal time reading and studying
the Bible, it is important for us to attend church to be
taught biblical principles by a preacher, pastor or teacher
who is well trained. It is through understanding the Bible
that we can develop strong faith and learn how to please
God. Another reason why church attendance is important is
it provides an opportunity to spend time with other Christians
(brothers and sisters-in-Christ) and thereby gain strength
and encouragement in our spiritual journey. Last but not
least, one of the most critical reasons for attending church
is to obtain spiritual guidance and training. God views
the local church as a family, place of training and healing
for His people. It is through this spiritual training that
we become mature in the faith and thereby able to help others
to do the same. God creates each person with unique gifts
and talents that are to be used for the building or uplifting
of the Body of Christ (the church). Romans 10:13-17; Hebrews
10:24–25; Ephesians 4:11–12.
Q:
What is salvation?
A: Salvation is being saved from sin, condemnation, or eternal
separation from God. God loved mankind so much, He sent
His only Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to teach us about Him
and to die for our sins It does not matter what you have
done or what kinds of sins you have committed, you can receive
salvation today by simply asking God to forgive your sins,
repenting (turn away from sinful ways and habits, cease
from disobeying God) and inviting Jesus to become your Savior.
You do not have to be at church to do this. You can do this
in the privacy of your home or wherever you may be. Scripture
References: Romans 3:10, 23; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10.
Q:
Who is the Holy Spirit?
A: God is a triune being, which means there are 3 distinct
persons in one God (Trinity). The Holy Spirit, often referred
to as the Holy Ghost, is part of the Holy Trinity consisting
of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit –
three persons and expressions of one God. The Father is
the creator and ruler of the universe. He is the all-knowing,
all-wise source of life and is love. Jesus, who is called
the Son of Man in the Bible, is the human expression of
God. He was birthed into this world to reveal the Father,
His plans and His ways to mankind. The Holy Spirit is the
third Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit
of truth and leads the people of God into spiritual truth.
He also convicts the world of sin. He leads us, reveals
God’s plans for us, and gives us new life and helps
us to live victoriously on this earth. Scriptural References:
John 14:15; John 14:26; John 16: 8-11 and 12; Galatians
5:19–25; 1 Corinthians 2:9–11 and 13; 1Corinthians
12:4-11.
Q:
Why do people pay tithes and offerings at church?
A: The word “tithe” means the tenth part or
the tenth of all the increase that God gives to us. Increase
includes everything that increases the value of material
possessions allows us to have, such as earned income or
gifts. God requires each of us to pay our tithes for His
storehouse (the church or ministry to which you belong or
through which you receive the Word of God) and to support
those who minister to the Body of Christ. The Bible says
that the tithe belongs to God, and if we keep it, we are
in essence robbing God. Offerings, on the other hand, are
gifts we bring to God above or beyond the tithe. God allows
each one of us to use our discretion or as the Holy Spirit
guides us regarding the amount of offerings we give or how
often we give them. With every commandment or directive
God gives us, there is a blessing or many rewards. He promises
to bless us so much when we obey Him with tithes and offerings
that we will not have room to receive it all. On the contrary,
when we fail to obey Him in this area, we give the enemy
of our souls, Satan, license to rob us of prosperity and
our basic financial needs may not be met. Scripture Reference:
Malachi 3: 8–11.
Q:
Why do you speak in tongues?
A: When Christians speak in tongues, they are speaking in
a language that is unknown to them, and they do not understand
what they are saying. However, the Spirit of God (also known
as Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost) can provide an interpretation
of what is being said. After a person repents and receives
Jesus as his Savior, He may ask God to fill him with the
Holy Spirit. When that happens, speaking in tongues is a
sign of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Scripture
Reference: Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Corinthians
14:4; Jude 20.
